Job Summary :

As a Handy / Service Technician at HomeSmiles, your primary responsibility will be to respond to customer appointments and field dispatches, addressing any of the 18 points of home / property maintenance.

To excel in this role, you'll need exceptional customer service skills, equivalent field experience, the ability to troubleshoot independently, and adaptability to changing work schedules.

A top-tier Technician at HomeSmiles efficiently manages service callouts, delivering high-quality service regardless of job size.

Responsibilities :

Meet with customers to discuss scheduled services.

Ensure customers sign Terms and Conditions before commencing work.

Conduct routine home / property service maintenance onsite.

Perform preventive maintenance on service equipment.

Inspect and troubleshoot equipment failures.

Assist in the installation, testing, and training related to new service equipment.

Maintain equipment stock in company vehicles.

Generate post-job customer reports using mobile tablets.

NOTE : Technicians will not amend or repair any part of the homeowner's property.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Proven work experience as a Handyman or Home / Property Maintenance Technician.

Willingness to travel and adapt to varying work schedules.
