Responsibilities:

- Provide excellent guest services and ensure a positive experience for all event attendees
- Ensure the safety of guests by monitoring and enforcing rules and regulations
- Assist with event setup, including arranging furniture, decorations, and equipment if necessary.
- Interact with children and provide a fun and engaging experience during family-friendly events
- Handle cash transactions and operate cash registers or POS systems
- Monitor alcohol sales and consumption
- Assist with crowd control and manage lines or queues during busy periods
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, or conflicts in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with event management team to ensure smooth operations throughout the event

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in guest services or hospitality or customer service is preferred but can also be learned along the way
- OLCC, DPSST or First Aid, is a plus. opportunities to obtain during employment among many other training opportunities
- Experience working with public and large crowds is a plus but not required.
- Strong public speaking skills to make announcements or provide instructions to large groups, being very assertive.
- Ability to handle conflict situations calmly and effectively
- Cash handling experience is a plus
- Familiarity with events management or theater operations is a plus

Also note that the starting wage is $16.50 with room for raises when you get certifications and trainings, show up on time and show up to scheduled shifts!
