Job Summary: Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Group Facilitator to join our team. This is a contracted position with hours 6-9 Monday through Thursday Remote; Also Saturdays daytime in-person. As a Group Facilitator, you will be responsible for leading therapeutic sessions and providing support to individuals in a group setting. This role requires experience in hospital or direct support settings, as well as expertise in chronic pain counseling and addiction counseling. Duties:

- Conduct group therapy sessions for individuals with chronic pain or addiction issues

- Create a safe and supportive environment for participants to share their experiences

- Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including art therapy, to facilitate healing and personal growth

- Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans - Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients

- Provide education and resources to participants to enhance their understanding of their conditions and promote self-care Skills:

- Proven experience in hospital or direct support settings - Expertise in chronic pain counseling and addiction counseling

- Strong assessment skills to evaluate patients' needs and progress - Knowledge of medical records management, including ICD-9 coding

- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality

- Ability to effectively communicate with individuals of diverse backgrounds and ages

- Experience working with children is preferred but not required
