Description

We are seeking an experienced Oral Surgery Billing Manager to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical and dental billing and coding, specifically in the field of oral surgery. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the billing department, ensuring timely and accurate submission of claims, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities:

- Manage the billing department and oversee the day-to-day operations

- Ensure timely and accurate submission of claims to insurance companies and other payers

- Review and analyze billing data to identify trends and areas for improvement

- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve billing efficiency and accuracy

- Initiate and maintain approved physician credentialing status at insurance companies and hospitals

- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA

- Provide training and support to billing staff as needed

- Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless billing processes

- Resolve billing issues and disputes with insurance companies and other payers

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree, preferably in healthcare administration or related field

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical billing and coding, with a focus on oral surgery

- Strong knowledge of billing regulations and compliance requirements

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to develop a team and work collaboratively with other departments

- Proficiency in billing software and electronic health records (EHR)

- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
