We are looking for a hard-working Supply Chain ERP Implementation Manager to represent Black Rabbit and to communicate effectively with vendors and clients alike, and back to the BR organization. The IT Implementation Manager is responsible for the functional expertise of our team and our systems.
A successful Supply Chain ERP Implementation Manager is hard-working, organized and detail oriented. Positive and productive relationships are always developed and maintained. You should be able to keep up with timely responses and associated follow through.
OpportunityThe Supply Chain ERP Implementation manager at Black Rabbit 3PL will oversee and manage the company's enterprise system. Black Rabbit is implementing Netsuite, an Oracle Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning system, encompassing Finance, Human Resources, and Supply Chain.
The web-based, real-time system will provide staff the tools they need to work more efficiently and effectively and help to give more visibility and controls of daily operations. supply chain and logistics strategy and operations, including all aspects of procurement, warehousing, fulfillment, inventory management, global customs, and global parcel fulfillment, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
This role involves working closely with the Chairman and report to the Director of Organizational Systems to ensure alignment with strategic goals, as well as overseeing all aspects of procurement, of IT tools, software, hardware and User operations to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Supply Chain ERP Implementation Manager Responsibilities
  • Lead the overall project and IT management of the roll-out, to implement Netsuite where it’s needed and to support and train BR supply chain staff who will implement the new processes using the software.
  • As part of the preparation for adopting Insight, the Supply Chain ERP Implementation Manager is implementing the Supply Chain Transformation for Excellence Project. This project aims to streamline our national structures and processes, to align them with global standard and facilitate adoption/compliance with Netsuite requirements.
  • The Supply Chain ERP Implementation Manager will be the global lead for Insight in SCM. Working with the Insight Project Management Office (PMO) and other related departments, s/he is responsible for the supply chain modules’ successful roll-out, which includes local design, data collection and configuration, testing, training, and hypercare.
  • S/he would also be responsible for coordination between Project and Operations and Finance.
  • S/he will manage a core global team of two Configuration Leads and one Change Enablement Advisor, as well coordinate regional SCM ERP Implementation Advisors (a dotted line relationship).
  • This position requires an independent self- motivated and analytical individual who can work with varying domestic and international stakeholders. The position is based in Houston and reports to the Director of Organizational Systems. International travel up to 40% may be required.
  • Work with Black Rabbit’s COO to develop and implement a supply chain strategy that aligns with the overall growth objectives of the Company.
  • Negotiate with suppliers, vendors, other 3PL providers and carriers to secure favorable terms and improve operational efficiency.
  • Implement analytics and process improvement initiatives to enhance performance across all areas of supply chain and fulfillment.
  • Stay informed on Supply Chain IT and ERP industry journals and trends and adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge. (such as International Supply Chain Technology Journal).
  • Work with finance and other departments to forecast demand and ensure supply and fulfillment operations meet business needs and overall forecasted demand.
  • Lead the implementation of supply chain, logistics, inventory management and fulfillment technology systems.
  • Develop and implement global customs compliance procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, Business Administration, International Development (or equivalent experience).
  • 8 years working in supply chain logistics, and fulfillment, including 3PL coordination, inventory management, global customs, and global parcel fulfillment with a proven leadership track record.
  • 3 years implementing and/or supporting Finance and Supply Chain ERP applications, preferably Oracle.
  • Experience in project management leadership.
  • Experience with Finance and Supply Chain business processes within Non- Governmental Organizations preferred.
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams across various time zones (i.e. Africa, Europe/Middle East, Asia, Americas).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, Excel Proficiency is a Must.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and collaborative skills.
  • Proficiency in supply chain management, logistics, warehouse management and fulfillment software, tools and analytics, including AI.

Travel requirements: Required travel to Black Rabbit California, and Florida locations, and future locations internally operated fulfillment center in the USA, and occasional travel to 3PL partners across the country.
