Penn Smile Care is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Philadelphia, PA

Restorative , Cosmetics , Implant , Family, Surgical and Endodontic practice.

We are looking for a highly motivated , reliable individual who is a team player and has good chair side and people communication skills and is willing to learn new technology.

  • Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history
- Prepare and stock operatory
- Assist with dental lab tasks such as pouring models and trimming trays. Performs other duties as assigned

  • Qualifications:

- Dental Assistant certification or relevant experience
- At least 1 year of dental assistant experience. Exxperience with assistant dental extractions and implant placement
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
