Overview:

Looking for swim instructor for 5 year old (mild asd) and 2.5 year old to teach them pool safety skills and beginner swim lessons. Must be able to work with children with special needs and small children. Lessons would happen in home pool in Little Falls. Schedule is flexible. Must have experience and knowledge teaching kids swimming.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct swim lessons following our curriculum and teaching guidelines
- Provide a safe and positive learning environment for students
- Evaluate swimmers' progress and provide feedback for improvement
- Demonstrate proper swimming techniques and water safety skills
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and used correctly

Requirements:

- Previous experience in childcare, lifeguarding, sports coaching, or related fields is preferred
- Strong swimming ability
- Certification in lifeguarding or water safety (preferred but not required)
- Ability to work well with children
- Knowledge of additional sports such as karate, judo, basketball, martial arts, or physical education is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
