POSITION: Insurance Producer

COMPENSATION: $60k to $80k base salary plus bonuses

POSITION SUMMARY: The objective of the Insurance Producer is to source prospective clients, develop professional relationships, and win clients by working with the team to deliver high-end services proactively. As an Insurance Producer, you will work closely with business leaders to implement critically important risk management plans that protect businesses' assets and income. This role is best suited for professionals seeking a rapid development path, who are motivated by solving real business problems, and who want more control over their own income and work/life balance. Beginning a career in commercial insurance requires an entrepreneurial mindset, work ethic, the ability to relate to a diverse group of client leaders, and a strong interest in developing business acumen.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop a prospect pipeline through market research and sales tools such as LinkedIn and Google

- Connect with business owners and leaders via calling, emailing, and in-person meetings

- Prepare strategic prospect due diligence through extensive research in coordination with mentors

- Communicate the value proposition and differentiators of the agency

- Establish relationships with local centers of influence within target industries

- Attend trade shows and networking events within target industries

- Oversee the gathering of information required for property & casualty or benefits renewals

- Recognize client needs and coordinate with agency teams to deliver value-added solutions

- Act as a "trusted advisor" by demonstrating a depth of knowledge regarding the client’s operations

- Pursue personal and professional development through agency-sponsored continuing education

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

- Willing to participate in a training program including significant study and work

- College degree with an emphasis in business, marketing, finance, sales, economics, or similar fields of study where a high degree of business acumen is expected

- Currently licensed or willing to obtain Georgia agents license

- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
