YMCA of the Chippewa Vally is Hiring an Early Childhood Teacher Near Chippewa Falls, WI

Do you have a passion for working with children? Are you looking for a fun and exciting job that keeps you moving? This could be the position for you!

The YMCA Early Learning Community (Chippewa YMCA) is looking to hire a full time teacher! Hours will be between 7am and 6pm. Hours and days working can be flexible. No weekends!

All staff receive a free YMCA membership, program discounts, 50% off childcare, and early enrollment for lessons/programs. Our full time staff are eligible for full benefits including employer paid Life and Disability insurance.

Our current openings are as listed:

8am - 5pm in the 4 year old room

6am - 2pm Float Teacher

9am - 6pm Float Teacher

To be considered for these positions, you must be at least a level 7 on the WI Registry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Provide quality, safe and fun programming through daily activities

-Lesson Planning

-Create relationships with children

-Ensure that proper documentation is completed throughout day

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

-Willing to participate in furthering childcare education courses paid for by the YMCA

-Previous childcare/ licensed daycare work experience

-Positive attitude, good communication skills, team player & professional

-Enjoy being around kids, reliable and adaptable

-CPR/First Aid Certification within 6 months of employment (covered by the YMCA upon hire).

-Level 7 or higher on the WI Registry

Pay is $13-17/hr
