4 Life Construction is Hiring a Part-time Bookkeeper Near Fort Wayne, IN

About us

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced part-time bookkeeper to join our team and manage the books for 4 Life Construction, a prominent construction company under 4 Life Investments.

Job Description: Part-Time Bookkeeper to maintain financial records for 4 Life Construction, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. The ideal candidate will have previous bookkeeping experience and be able to work independently with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Hours:

  • Part-time positions, approximately 20-25 hours per week
  • 9am-1pm, Monday-Friday or 1pm - 5 pm, Monday-Friday

Compensation:

  • Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience

Responsibilites:

  • Record day to day financial transations and complete the posting process for 4 Life Construction
  • Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct daybook, suppliers ledger, customer ledger, and dneral ledger
  • Process accounts receivable/payable and handle invoices to contractors in a timely manner
  • Perform reconciliations of accounts
  • Assist with budget preperation and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards
  • Communicate with clients and vendors as needed

Qualifications:

  • Proven bookkeeping experience
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accouting figures and financial records
  • Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
  • Proficiency in English and in MS Office
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Associate's degree or relevant certification is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.02 - $19.76 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week

Experience level:
