Heavy Equipment Management Company is Hiring a Parts Inventory Coordinator Near Las Vegas, NV

We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Parts Inventory Coordinator, this role oversees parts availability and ordering, focusing on right sizing inventory. This position creates parts stock orders and oversees back orders and emergency orders. The role includes all administrative duties to accomplish these objectives.

What you'll do:

  • Manage the inventory of replacement parts.
  • Set up Komatsu and allied vendor parts in ERP system.
  • Maintain, monitor and adjust inventory stocking rules in ERP system to ensure the availability of parts across all branches.
  • Plan and submit replenishment stock orders.
  • Collaborate with service department, Komatsu and allied vendors to establish and maintain appropriate order formula codes and min/max points for each part.
  • Review and expedite emergency and back ordered parts orders for all manufacturers.
  • Submit and track claims to vendors as needed.
  • Review and process vendor returns and aged inventory solutions per Gee Heavy Machinery policy and vendor agreements.
  • Collaborate with parts operations in the creation of strategies to ensure parts profitability and availability.
  • Create and review periodic inventory reports that illustrate inventory levels, lead times and profitability.
  • Provide physical inventory count materials to parts operations and adjust physical inventory in the ERP as needed.
  • Participate in physical inventory counts.
  • Actively engage in process improvement.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license.
