GEE AUTOMOTIVE HEAVY EQUIPMENT HOLDINGS LLC is Hiring a Parts Warehouse Near West Sacramento, CA

The primary focus of this role is to prepare parts orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes and delivering parts. A Warehouse Utility Associate will process all parts orders while continuously communicating with Gee Heavy Machinery team members to ensure the correct parts are consistently pulled and provided to our customers at the desired time. Responsibility also includes maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the yard, ensuring safe equipment handling.

  • Process parts orders by efficiently pulling materials, packing boxes and delivering parts in a safe manner.
  • Receive all parts ordered from vendors, ensuring they are entered correctly in the computer and placed in the proper location.
  • Complete surplus part returns on a regular basis.
  • Perform cycle counts to improve the accuracy of parts inventory.
  • Deliver parts to customers, field technicians and shop locations.
  • Act as shipping/receiving expert, notifying team members when materials are received and performing all warehouse shipping duties.
  • File and distribute all necessary paperwork related to warehouse operations.
  • Work closely with parts counter associates and management to ensure customers receive the correct parts at the correct time.
  • Collaborate with other departments to guarantee the timely processing of parts orders.
  • Carry out general housekeeping duties in the parts department and warehouse, minimizing the level of dust and dirt in those areas.
  • Collaborate with service operations to maintain accurate warranty parts hold inventory and ensure parts are returned to the manufacturer per requirements.
  • Actively participate in the meeting of department goals, including customer loyalty, order pulling accuracy and cycle counting.
  • Contribute to accurate customer name and address information in customer relationship management (CRM) system.

  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the talent to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a changing work environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal customer service skills required.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
  • Skilled in using relevant software applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and DMS.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Certified in operating a forklift, skid steers, and other equipment as needed.

Able to meet the physical demands

Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as needed

Salary: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
