The Vinegar Fermentation Operator will prepare vinegar by mixing raw ingredients, following formulas, maintaining schedules, monitoring equipment, maintaining pressures and feed rates, and ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations.
Duties include:
*Following and maintaining compliance with all safety and sanitation guidelines
*Ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations
*Preparing and completing appropriate reports
*Maintaining inventory and records for ingredients, food safety audits, and TTB, and transmitting them to the appropriate company personnel
*Assembling and preparing equipment
*Maintaining a clean and orderly work area
*Performing quality checks and product samples
*Other duties as assigned
**Some heavy lifting up to 50lbs, occasionally
**Flexible to work overtime
Job Requirements
*High School diploma or equivalent
*Manufacturing or food industry experience preferred
*Able to use MS Word and Excel
*Knowledge or the ability to understand the vinegar fermentation process
*Able to follow verbal and written instructions
*Strong math skills, including measurements and calculations
*Able to read meters and gauges
*Able to work in a lab environment with fluctuating temperatures and smells
*Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
*Good verbal and written communication skills
*Forklift experience is a plus

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
