IPS - Rubbercraft is seeking a Tooling Supervisor who is ultimately responsible for planning, coordinating, inventorying and maintaining tools/ molds for the production line to accommodate the delivery of products on customer orders. The Tooling Supervisor reports to the V.P. of Operations & Engineering and is the primary point of contact for Sales, Customer Service, Engineers and Operations for tool status inquiries. The position will also be responsible for assuring that tools are being used per the published daily schedule that is being provided by the Production Manager, to also include but not limited to Process and Product Evaluations.
The Tooling Supervisor will also work with Engineering to assess the condition of tools and work closely with Engineering in the repair of damaged or worn tools, must also possess both decision-making and people skills that allow him/her to effectively deal with their own departments as well as the coordination of other operations departments. When necessary the Tooling Supervisor will work with the Planning team on ordering any materials that will be needed to complete an order on time and on schedule. The Tooling Supervisor will be the primary point of contact with Engineering regarding production tooling.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, Bachelors degree preferred
3-4 years experience in management
3-4 years experience in a manufacturing environment, experience with aerospace or rubber industry preferred
OTHER SUBJECTIVE CRITERIA:
Organizational skills a must
Able to multi-task and problem solve
Must demonstrate an ability to prioritize, coordinate and lead
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
On the job training will be conducted on Procedures and Work Instructions from the area of responsibility.
Yearly refresher training on FOD, Calibration, Documentation control and Safety Topics.
