```Overview:
We are a full-service, moderate-sized property management company servicing condominiums and HOAs throughout New Jersey since 1991. We are seeking an experienced full-charge bookkeeper to join our team. As a full-charge bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our clients' financial records. This key role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. If you have a solid background in accounting and are looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity, we encourage you to apply. We prefer someone who lives less than 30 minutes from our office by car.
Duties:
- Perform all aspects of full-cycle accounting- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Conduct regular account analysis to identify discrepancies or issues
- Collaborate with the property managers to develop financial strategies and goals
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role
- Proficient in using accounting software - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Capability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with financial concepts and terminology
