JOB DUTIES

• Conduct consultations to determine best course of action with each potential client;
• Conduct legal research;
• Draft forms for USCIS;
• Draft Briefs, Pleadings, and Motions for EOIR;
• Represent clients in court proceedings (EOIR), USCIS interviews, and ICE appointments;
• Prepare clients for hearings and interviews;
• Participation in networking events;
• Willingness to learn other areas of immigration law;
• Maintain client communication and work together with paralegals and staff.

REQUIREMENTS:

• MUST BE BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH.
• Must have 3 years practicing immigration.
• Experience with REMOVAL/DEPORTATION DEFENSE.
• Experience with both Master Calendar Hearings and Individual Hearings before EOIR.
• Experience with Affirmative and defensive asylum, VAWA, U VISA, T VISA, PIP, Cancellation of Removal, TPS, and Family based petitions.
• Experience representing clients at ICE appointments.
• Experience representing clients with USCIS.
• Experience with Crimmigration preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiarity with Clio and Docketwise; preferred but not required.
• Experience with employment immigration; preferred but not required.
• Ability to speak other languages.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
