Responsibilities/Qualifications

Lakeshore Woods Senior Living Community, in Fort Gratiot, is looking for an amazing Receptionist. The Receptionist is the person that meets and greets our residents daily and asks, “What can I do to make your day better?” Your role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service and hospitality. You will ensure the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents by providing attentive assistance and maintaining a secure environment. This position reports to the Executive Director.

This is a Full-Time position, the hours are 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Answer multi-line telephone, screen and direct calls.
• Take and relay messages.
• Provide information to callers.
• Assist management in a number of projects.
• Direct individuals to correct destination.
• Deal with queries from the public and clients.
• Ensures knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization.
• General administrative and clerical support.
• Prepare letters and documents.
• Receive, sort, and distribute mail.
• Maintain office filing.
• Organize meetings.
• Tidy and maintain the reception area.
• Research vendors for cost effective suppliers.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma generally required.
• Strong knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures.
• Knowledge of computers and multi-line phone system.
• Strong knowledge of word, excel, calculator, copier, fax, and postage machine.
• Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
• Healthcare experience a plus.
