Overnight Cashier.

Reports to the Store General Manager.

Job Overview.

The Overnight Cashier helps perform the day-to-day convenience store operations. The Overnight Cashier is a vital member of our organization, playing an essential role in ensuring a positive experience for customers and a great work environment for team members.

The self-motivated, service-orientated individual will be accountable for demonstrating exceptional customer service and a team-orientated mindset.

Works on cleaning and stocking overnight to ensure the store is ready for the next day.

Responsibilities and Duties :

• Maintain a high level of customer service.
• Register sales on the cash register.
• Collects payments by accepting cash, check, charge, or credit card payments from customers and makes changes for cash customers if necessary.
• Maintain a positive work environment for all team members.
• Generate accurate till reports for each register.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Perform procedures to ensure the store is clean and stocked.

Qualifications :

• Some high school education is preferred.
• Specific skills :
• Effective communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and problem-solve.
• Strong work ethic.
• Positive Attitude
• Basic math skills
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Able to stand for the duration of shift.
• Able to reach above your head to grab products.
