Crew Member - Back of House (Part-time)

Wage: $14.50 – 17.50 per hour (plus up to an additional $5 per hour with tips)

Wired Café is looking for energetic individuals with a passion for delivering exceptional, personalized customer service to join our team. As a Crew Member you will:

Essential Responsibilities

• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.)
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Check quality of ingredients
• Cleaning workspaces and common areas

Summary of Experience

• Prior experience working in a food service environment is preferred but not required

Qualifications

• Ability to work early morning (often)
• Ability to work evening (occasionally) and Saturday shifts (often)
• Have or willing to acquire a Food Handler’s Permit
