About us: Our upbeat and busy Café is looking to add a few more friendly, energetic and experienced Barista's to our Team. Our Café goes above and beyond just coffee and pastries. We also offer Smoothies, Sandwiches, Wraps, Acai Bowls and more.......Café Arpeggio provides our Barista's with an abundance of merch such as T-shirts, Hoodies, Zip-Up Hoodies and Crew Neck Hoodies to ensure your preparation for a comfortable shift. Must be available within the operating hours of 7am to 7pm, Sunday thur Saturday.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other equipment to make quality coffee beverages
- Prepare food items such as sandwiches, pastries, and baked goods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of retail math for cash handling and transactions
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different coffee blends
- Ability to handle food preparation and adhere to food handling guidelines
- Familiarity with the food industry and understanding of customer preferences
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating change for customers
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
