Adonia Dentistry is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Houston, TX

We are a friendly general dental office looking for an experienced (2 yr), dependable Registered Dental Assistant who is a team player!

YOU MUST BE PROFICIENT IN FABRICATION of TEMPORARY CROWNS & PACKING CORD!

Hours: T (8-6), Th (8-6), F(8-6, once a month), Sat (approx. 1x/month, 8-3).

Benefits for FT (after 90 days): In house Dental, Major Holidays.

We are paperless and digital. Dentrix experience is preferred, but not required. You must be proficient in scanning for digital records, crowns, bridges and dentures.

Primary Job Duties Include:

  • Assist chair side with dental treatments as instructed
  • Take and record dental histories and maintain digital patient records
  • Prepare instruments; clean treatment areas; sterilize equipment
  • Responsible for patient flow, keeping treatment rooms neat and organized
  • Equipment Maintenance - Perform routine maintenance on equipment
  • Must be able to work both independently and cooperatively in teams
  • Maintain regular attendance and adhere to assigned work schedule and office policies
  • Actively hand instruments and materials to Dentist during procedures in order to help maintain patient comfort and Dentist's efficiency
  • Ability to project a positive, warm and professional image
  • Strong organizational skills -- you see what needs to be done and do it
  • Must be articulate and service-oriented
  • Ability to multi-task, take initiative and anticipate the needs of others
  • Works well in a team with humor, enthusiasm, respect & integrity

  • Pay Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 – 36 per week
