Job Description
General Labor Workers
Closets by Design, a nationally recognized leader in home organizing systems, is currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to immediately fill the position(s) of General Labor in our production facility in Brighton, MI.
Some prior Woodworking experience preferred, but not required. You will be trained to produce quality custom closets, garages and home organizing systems. Earn while you learn all the skills necessary to efficiently produce high-quality Closets by Design products!
Job Responsibilities
- Operate industrial woodworking machinery and hand tools
- Develop expert knowledge of company product lines, machinery, assembly standards, and installation techniques
- Follow quality and safety standards
- Maintain shop equipment according to an established schedule
- Adhere to daily output goals
- Additional tasks or projects as defined by Manager(s)
Personal Requirements
- Experience in the woodworking or cabinet making fields, (32mm systems) a plus
- Experience with woodworking equipment and hand tools a plus
- Excellent problem solving skills, able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Team oriented and accountable
- Driven to reach goals and determined to succeed
