Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum for children in the early childhood education setting.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities and play.
- Utilize early intervention strategies to support children with special needs or developmental delays.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
- Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior and discipline when necessary.
- Incorporate physical education activities into daily routines to promote gross motor skills development.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Attend staff meetings, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young children in a childcare, preschool, or daycare setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to develop age-appropriate curriculum and educational materials.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with children on their level.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules or classroom needs.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
