Part-Time or Full-Time Psychiatrist Specializing in TMS and Ketamine Infusions

Location: Good Hea lth Psychiatric Services in Brooklyn , NY

We specialize in Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Ketamine infusions, and comprehensive medication management. Our goal is to provide support, comfort, and safety to every patient, helping them reclaim their lives.

Job Type: Part-Time (2-3 days a week, with potential for full-time)

Compensation: $300k - $400k per year (once full-time)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop individualized treatment plans for new and established patients through in-person appointments.
  • Provide non-invasive neuromodulation TMS and Ketamine infusions, ensuring meticulous medication management.
  • Educate patients and their families about TMS and Ketamine therapies, including all risks and benefits.
  • Perform or supervise Motor Threshold (MT) determinations and re-determinations.
  • Oversee the delivery of TMS services, ensuring all aspects meet professional and community standards.
  • Conduct initial TMS evaluations and weekly check-ins to assess progress and adjust treatment plans.
  • Work with technicians to complete EEG brain maps and explain results to patients.

Psychiatric Care:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments to determine appropriate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications according to best practices.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide follow-up care through regular check-ins.
  • Work collaboratively with family members or guardians of minor patients.
  • Offer consultation and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care.

Documentation and Communication:

  • Maintain accurate documentation to support professional billing for services.
  • Communicate and coordinate with the broader care team to ensure a patient-centered approach.
  • Keep up-to-date with TMS field/research to implement the latest findings in patient care.

Requirements:

  • Board Certified Psychiatrist
  • Licensed in NY stateĀ 
  • DEA in NY state
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Excellent communication, patient relations, and time management skills
  • Energetic, motivated, compassionate, personable, hard-working, and reliable
  • Green Card holder or United States CitizenĀ 
  • Computer literate with experience in electronic health record systems
