Experience Registered Nurse with an active Ohio license, with at least 2 yrs.

Bachelors, or a Masters (preferred) degree

• Teaching experience preferred but not required
• Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation and leadership skills
• Demonstrates and teaches patient care in classroom and clinical units to nursing students and instructs students in principles and application of physical, biological, and psychological subjects related to nursing: Lectures to students, conducts and supervises laboratory work, issues assignments
• May specialize in specific subject, such as anatomy, chemistry, psychology, or nutrition, or in type of nursing activity, such as nursing of medical or surgical patients.

Provide competent teaching demonstrated through articulation of the practice-theory relationship, incorporation of research into clinical practice, use of sound teaching-learning theory and techniques, and constructive evaluation. Utilize creative and varied teaching strategies. Serve as a clinical role model and teaching clinician in specialty areas of nursing. Facilitate a positive, collaborative learning climate for students, including valuing of diversity, integrity, accountability, and ethical and professional behavior among students.
