Bedmaker Job Description

Perform bed making for all occupied rooms, beverage refreshment and assistance to other departments as needed. Requires attention to detail and the ability to work as a team.

Job Duties:

• Making beds for all occupied rooms in the facility
• Provide ice and water to each applicable resident room
• Assist dietary staff with dining room clean up after daily breakfast
• Assist CNA staff with wheeling residents to and from dining room for daily breakfast
• Provide feeding to applicable residents as needed for daily breakfast. Paid feeding program training provided by facility
• Assist CNA staff with passing meal trays to rooms
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Work/Communicate well with others
• Stand for 4 hours a day
• Ability to push/pull/lift 30 pounds
• Honest
• Trustworthy
• Arrive to work on time
• Work with little supervision
• Self-motivated
