Assist and coordinate the day-to-day field operations and compliance documentation to ensure quality service and product line efficiency. Provide leadership to other operators and promote a positive employee/employer relationship. Key Responsibilities: • Perform duties defined by provided daily checklist and document. • Assist with gathering and responding to compliance inquiries/concerns. • Assist with monthly Landfill inspections and preparation/application of Alternative Daily Cover. • Coordinate all information and prepare reporting documentation for compliance to State/Provincial and Local agencies. • Operate and utilize Landfill equipment as required by management. • Maintain operational quality standards as predetermined by management. • Follow all safety and equipment checks and precautions in performance of all duties. • Assist the Operations Supervisor with accident investigations and preparing the necessary paperwork. •Conform in all respects with applicable federal, state/provincial and local laws, regulations, ordinances and other orders and to all company policies, procedures and directives from supervisors. •Attend and assist with safety and branch meetings. • Perform other job-related duties as assigned Requirements: • Level I Treatment Plan Certification required • Two-year Associates Degree highly preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Excellent Word/Excel skills • Ability to write and effectively communicate responses to compliance inquiries • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to perform mathematical calculations that apply to the job • Ability to follow instructions and work under limited supervision • Ability to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds Physical/Mental Demands: • Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, climb, balance, taste, and smell. • Visual Requirements: include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus due to the constant maneuvering of vehicle in tight and high traffic areas. • Ability to regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds Working Conditions: • Frequently exposed to loud noise, humidity, rainy/stormy, hot and cold weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, vibration, toxic and caustic chemicals, fumes and airborne particles • Occasionally work in high precarious places • Work in motor vehicle traffic conditions constantly We thank you for your interest.
