Alyson's Orchard is a 350 acre working farm. We are also a thriving event center, wedding destination, and offer unique lodging through Airbnb.

The Orchard Tavern is our seasonal restaurant, running December through mid August. The tavern is well loved by our local community and guests staying at the orchard.

Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Upsell menu items and promote daily specials
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guests
- Assist with bussing duties as needed
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food service industry preferred
- Knowledge of OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent multitasking abilities
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing and payment transactions
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Please note that this position requires standing for long periods of time and the ability to lift trays or plates weighing up to 25 pounds. Sanitation practices must be followed at all times to ensure a clean and safe dining environment.
