Local CPA firm has immediate opening for an Accountant / Full-Charge Bookkeeper.

Duties include:

• Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger.
• Prepare financial statements and reports.
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Coordinate with external clients for tax filings.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Handle other accounting tasks as needed.
• Filing / office organization.

Requirements:

• Experience as a full charge bookkeeper or similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage experience a plus).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willing to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred.

Position is full-time, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with additional hours available during critical periods. Seasonal weekend work may also required, usually near important tax filing deadlines, which also provides an opportunity for overtime.
