EDUCATION / TRAINING:
The employee needs to have basic reading, writing and computer skills and the ability to
communicate effectively with outside shipping personnel and all internal departments.
SKILLS / EXPERINCE:
Minimal previous skills/experience is necessary to perform this job. The ability to lift
and carry 50 pounds regularly and up to 80 pounds occasionally is necessary. Be able to
operate Industrial Warehouse Equipment of all types as needed. Computer skills
required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ship all outgoing materials, verifying quantities and marking or labeling as needed.
Retrieve from pick bins and stack inventory on pallets or carts for both pallet and box
level deliveries. Weigh and wrap skids and prepare skids for shipment including but not
limited to taping, marking and prepping as needed for all customer requirements.
Maintain all required records and transactions in the business system as required.
Work from shop orders, bill of lading, packing slips, requests, and instructions. Use
weighing scales, hand totes, fork lift and other material handling equipment.
Perform other related duties as required or determined by your supervisor.
