POS Installation Technicians provide on-site installation and maintenance of POS Systems and Self Order Kiosks. They are also responsibable for installing and terminating Cat5/Ca6 Ethernet cables

The ideal candidate should possess prior experience installing POS systems/Self Order Kiosks or prior experience in IT and Cabling. They should be able to think on their feet in a fast-paced environment with little supervision.

This position is 100% travel (Monday to Friday) with no weekend work. Some projects may require overnight installation.

POS Installation Technicians should possess the following requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable transportation
• A smartphone & cell plan
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Prior POS/Structured Cabling experience (Preferred)
• Familiarity with computer systems and basic networking
• Comfortable with device configuration
• Familiarity with basic hand tools & power tools
• Comfortable driving panel vans & transporting equipment
• Able to work off a lift or ladder (Lift Cert Preferred)
• OSHA10 Preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft products (e.g., Word, Excel)
• Proficient with the use of email, spreadsheets, and the ability to learn internal systems
• Excellent time management skills

Our POS Installation Technicians are on the ground delivering services directly to the client. As a POS Installation Technician, your responsibilities include:

• Pulling/Terminating CAT5/CAT6 runs for POS systems or Self Order Kiosks
• Reading blueprints/placement documents to install equipment in the correct location.
• Maintaining neat cable management on all cable pulls and POS installations.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Completing all required paperwork/deliverables for each site completed

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
