The Resort Maintenance/Groundskeeper is a key role for us at John Wayne's Waterfront Resort. This person is responsible for maintaining the resort grounds by mowing, weed eating, blowing, pruning, raking etc. The ideal candidate would also assist with the operation, maintenance, service and repair of equipment in order to maintain the resort property. He/she is also responsible for performing jobs such as carpentry, painting, basic plumbing/electric, mowing and weed eating, etc. as assigned. 

The Resort Maintenance/Groundskeeper is expected to have excellent service skills in dealing with resort guests and co-workers. 

The ideal candidate would have knowledge of yard maintenance machines, tools and other equipment, including electrical and plumbing.

• Ability to be attentive, courteous and communicate effectively with guests and other employees
• Have a great attention to details and take pride in your work.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays when needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times.
• Must be able to work outdoors in a varied weather environment.
• Be a team player!
