Description
Position Summary:
A Caregiver is responsible for tending to personal care needs of Community Residents.
Duties & Responsibilities: a Care Partner I Associate/Caregiver: 1. tends to the personal care needs of Community Residents in a timely manner, providing assistance with activities of daily living; 2. anticipates, identifies, and documents Resident care, reporting observed changes in a Resident’s health to superiors; 3. assists Environmental Associates with housekeeping and laundry services when necessary; 4. assists in developing and updating Resident Service Plans; 5. performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Qualifications: 1. Required: a Care Partner I Associate/Caregiver must: a) have earned a high school diploma or equivalent; b) meet qualifications of the State within which their Community is located for direct care duties; c) be able to type with accuracy and have working knowledge of and basic proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams applications in the Microsoft Office suite; d) have working knowledge of, and experience using, PointClick Care software.
2. Preferred: The following qualifications would enhance the skill set of a prospective Care Partner I Associate/Caregiver: a) relevant experience and/or training in direct service to older adults; b) working knowledge of dementia particularly of the Alzheimer's type; c) relevant experience at some level of elder care.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands: a Care Partner I Associate/Caregiver: 1. must be able to maintain light to moderate physical activity for an entire shift, occasionally handling objects up to 50 pounds, and frequently handling objects up to 20 pounds.
