Job Title: Tax Advisor
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Advisor to join our dynamic accounting firm, specializing in comprehensive tax services, including tax planning and tax return preparation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of current tax regulations, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to provide clients with strategic tax planning solutions. Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth reviews and analyses of clients' financial records, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and identifying potential areas for tax planning.
Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all relevant tax laws and regulations.
Provide expert guidance and recommendations to clients on various tax issues, including but not limited to income tax, deductions, credits, and other relevant tax-related matters.
Collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective tax planning strategies aimed at minimizing tax liabilities and maximizing tax benefits.
Stay informed about the latest developments in tax laws and regulations, and communicate any relevant changes to clients and team members.
Assist in resolving any tax-related inquiries or issues that may arise during the tax filing process, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Work closely with a team of professionals to ensure the timely and accurate completion of all tax-related tasks and projects.
Foster and maintain strong client relationships, providing excellent service and support while offering proactive solutions tailored to each client's unique financial situation.
Qualifications:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience in tax planning and preparation, preferably in an accounting firm setting.
Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients in a clear and concise manner.
Proficiency in using relevant accounting software and tax preparation tools.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
