Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Residential Aide to join our team in providing care and support to residents in a residential setting.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to residents in accordance with their individual care plans
- Uphold resident rights and ensure a safe and comfortable living environment
- Assist with meal preparation and activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Administer medications as prescribed under supervision
- Provide senior care and assistance with memory care
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the residential facility
- Work with individuals with developmental disabilities to promote independence
- Drive residents to appointments or outings as needed
Skills:
- Experience in direct support and care for individuals in a residential setting
- Proficiency in meal preparation, medication administration, and ADLs
- Knowledge of senior care practices and memory care techniques
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized environment
- Experience working with people with developmental disabilities
- Valid driver's license for transportation needs
