PRN Medical Examiner (On-site DOT Physicals)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and certified PRN Medical Examiner to conduct on-site DOT physicals for our clients. This is a contracted position that typically requires availability on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. The ideal candidate will be a National Registry Certified Medical Examiner (NRCME) and may be a Medical Doctor, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Doctor of Chiropractic. The examiner will perform DOT physicals, Pre-placement exams, and drug & alcohol screens at client locations. MUST be willing to travel as needed.

Responsibilities:

- Perform comprehensive DOT physical exams on-site at client locations.

- Conduct non-DOT pre-placement and return-to-work physical exams.

- Administer audiometric testing and record accurate results.

- Perform both DOT and non-DOT drug testing (preferred).

- Conduct both DOT and non-DOT breath alcohol testing (preferred).

- Collaborate with clients to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Maintain accurate and thorough records of all exams performed.

- Provide excellent customer service to clients and their employees.

- Ensure all exams are performed in accordance with applicable regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications:

- National Registry Certified Medical Examiner (NRCME) qualification is required.

- Nurse Practitioner (NP), Physician Assistant (PA), or Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) licensure.

- Experience in performing DOT physical exams.

- Familiarity with non-DOT pre-placement and return-to-work exams.

- Proficiency in audiometric testing procedures.

- Experience with DOT and non-DOT drug testing (preferred).

- Familiarity with DOT and non-DOT breath alcohol testing (preferred).

- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients.

- Willingness to travel to client locations for on-site exams.

Additional Information:

- PRN (as-needed) position with flexible availability on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

- Some training will be provided to ensure familiarity with company procedures.

- Compensation will be based on experience and paid on per exam rate:
