Responsibilities:
- Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring the store runs smoothly
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints or issues
- Train and supervise employees, including conducting employee orientations and performance evaluations
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise
- Handle cash handling procedures, including opening and closing registers, making change, and preparing deposits
- Assist with payroll processing and scheduling of staff
- Collaborate with the store manager to develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
- Participate in store meetings and contribute to decision-making processes
Skills:
- Previous experience in retail management is preferred
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
- Strong cash handling abilities
- Knowledge of store management procedures and practices
- Ability to sell products and services effectively
- Proficient in payroll processing and scheduling
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Experience in sales management is a plus
- Ability to provide employee orientation and training
