OVERVIEW:

The Global Outreach Logistics Director will be responsible for planning and executing global discipleship events, ensuring the efficient use of resources, and maintaining comprehensive reporting systems. The candidate should be culturally and globally aware, have a strong relationship with Jesus, be connected to a local church, and have a passion for the advancement of the gospel.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Resource Management: Determine the most efficient way to get resources into various countries, considering local regulations and customs procedures.

• Conference Planning: Plan and execute yearly conferences, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.

• Opportunity Seeking: Actively seek new opportunities and technologies to improve our logistics processes and conference experiences.

• Budget Management: Ensure all activities stay within the allotted budget, making adjustments as necessary.

• Procurement: Procure necessary materials and resources in a timely and cost-effective manner.

• Technology Utilization: Ensure the effective use of technology in all aspects of our logistics and conference planning.

• Conference Organization: Organize yearly retreats by continent, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.

• Reporting: Maintain comprehensive reporting systems to track and report on all logistics and conference planning activities. WORK SCHEDULE:

Generally, in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday with the option of working remotely on Monday and Friday.

There will also be a reasonable amount of flexibility when the team member is traveling to support discipleship events.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Global Outreach Logistics Director will be responsible for recruiting and overseeing volunteer and contracted logistics

coordinators in various global regions.

IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree or related experience

• Excellent organizational and planning skills. Proficiency in using technology to improve logistics and conference planning.

• Strong budgeting and financial management skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in project management.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.
