```Duties:```
- Receive and prioritize incoming calls from customers and drivers
- Dispatch drivers to appropriate locations based on customer requests and driver availability
- Monitor driver progress and provide updates to customers as needed, tracking job progress
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and communicate any issues or delays to management
- Utilize communication systems, such as but not limited to radios, phone systems, Excel, Teams, Outlook to effectively communicate with drivers and team members
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns
```Qualifications:```
-At LEAST 2 years experience in dispatching trucks.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using dispatch software or systems, such as Fastweigh and Trux, Transportation Management
- Knowledge of supply chain operations~
- Familiarity with GPS technology for tracking and monitoring driver locations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
- Previous experience in logistics or transportation industry is preferred
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in record keeping and data entry
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
