Coast Kids Preschool Outdoor Environment Teacher Job Description
Duties:
Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
Supervise and monitor children during outdoor activities.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and cooperation.
Assess and track the progress of each child's learning and development.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and coordinate school-wide events
Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and other relevant information.
Flexible hours Monday – Friday
Requirements:
A Minimum of 12 Early Education Units
Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a daycare or educational setting.
Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Knowledge and understanding of Community Care Licensing policies and procedures.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a positive learning environment for young children.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each child.
