SIGNAGE - PROJECT MANAGEMENT and SALES (experience required)
We’re looking for someone who wants to join a full-service locally owned sign company with lots of potential for growth. We enjoy problem solving and providing our clients with custom signage products that meet and exceed their needs.
Experience in the field is required – please don’t apply if you have no background in the signage industry.
Responsibilities will include:
· Oversee all aspects of a project, including customer relations, cost estimating, quality control, management of schedule and deadlines, through project closeout.
· Build quality estimates that capture the needs of the project. Quotes will range from simple to high complexity; knowledge of sign materials is a must.
· Meet with clients onsite and conduct professional and complete site surveys to gather all pertinent information. Ability to make recommendations on products and materials that will best serve the needs of our clients.
· Ability to work with local jurisdictions to understand permitting requirements, create complete permit applications, acquire permits, and fulfill all code requirements. Permitting duties at times will entail working with Historic / Landmark districts as well as Comprehensive Sign Plans.
· Ability to read and understand construction drawings. This role will need to learn this skill as part of their responsibilities.
· Ability to create a Sign Message Schedule and Sign Location Plan. Understand regulations for ADA signage.
· Ability to do thorough quality control review of finished product before it’s installed.
· Work with local vendors to acquire pricing for materials used in the production process. Maintain current pricing in our Point of Sales System.
· Understand ADA code and ensure all shop drawings are ADA compliant
Possess a sharp eye for quality control. You must have a detail oriented and quality mindset.
· Provide outstanding customer service at all times, represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
· We will provide training and support, but our mindset is Graphicworks employees are self-starters, motivated, autonomous and able to work both independently and in a team setting.
· Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
