As a general manager in Moe’s Southwest Grill, the individual is expected to be a results-oriented person who possesses strong communication skills with adequate experience. He/she must follow the work ethics set by the company and adhere to the company’s policies.

- Develop and lead the restaurant team with integrity and respect
- Accountable for sales growth
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Maintain high standards of service and quality
- Consistent focus on profitability
- Greets every guest with “Welcome to Moe’s” as they enter the restaurant
- Interviews and hires staff to operate the restaurant based on company standards
- Schedules staff to operate the restaurant and accommodate guest flow volumes
- Controls payroll to meet company labor cost standards balanced with service delivery
- Train the management team and crew using current company training systems
- Evaluate performance at company-designated intervals
- Design development plans with each employee to improve performance
- Maintain a harmonious working relationship with owners, management team, and crew
- Provide coaching, counseling, and discipline as warranted
- Conduct management, crew and shift meetings as needed to discuss operations procedures, promotions, sales goals, safety, training, etc
- Maintain an adequate supply of products and supplies necessary to operate the restaurant
- Control inventory to meet company standards of quality and freshness
- Maintain reports and records based on company standards and in compliance with regulations
- Ensure personal appearance meets company standards and displays professionalism
- Ensure all sanitation and safety policies and procedures are recognized and enforced to ensure a safe environment for all
Job requirements include:
- Outgoing and energetic personality
- Minimum of five years of hotel management experience
- High level of integrity and leadership skills
- Solid financial aptitude and familiarity with planning
- Familiarity with budgeting and executing for results
- Burning desire to succeed
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Modern computer aptitude/skills
- Proven profit-building experience
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
