Job DescriptionSUPERVISOR: Site ManagerPURPOSE OF POSITIONSupports the production of courseware materials and performs varied administrative duties.
Minimum QualificationsEducation: Vocational or other post-high school training.
Training and Experience: One (1) year experience working with word processing software and applying software to functions to prepare documents.
General Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills, handle multiple tasks, flexible in work assignments; and work with little to no supervision. Must possess strong proof reading and editing skills.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.
Duties And Responsibilities
  • Performs the role of the company's Technical Order Distribution Officer (TODO) maintaining the MilSup publications account.
  • Perform pagination, proofreading, style guide editing, grammar checking; and general text/desktop publishing composition of documents in association with the courseware development team.
  • Inspect academic work unit folders for content and quality. Each unit folder should contain a cover, Lesson Strategy Report, feedback sheet, LPIG, LSG, PowerPoint CD, and Staff Summary Sheet.
  • Maintains data base of assigned students. Resolves conflicts in data base with registrar.
  • Inputs student data into MilSup data bases such as Training Management System (TMS) and Learning Management System or similar systems and assigns roles in each system.
  • Uploads student schedules into TMS and inputs students against assigned class (specialty).
  • Assigns students against class assignments in order for students to complete pre-requisites for their specialties.
  • Maintain version control on units returned from the Government and log in ALL appropriate spots on CWM deliverable schedule.
  • Serves as a clerical expert in independently processing personnel actions, e.g., new hire actions, employee updates, and dismissals.
  • Ensures new personnel acquire access to corporate computer accounts, i.e. Training Evaluation System, SharePoint, On Line Learning Center, and Human Resources Self-Service site.
  • Processes a range of scheduled routines in regards to PC administration. This includes diagnosing and acting on machine stoppage and error conditions not fully recovered by existing procedures and guidelines.
  • Coordinates with technical experts on warranty systems to resolve hardware and software conflicts of errors.
  • Maintains inventory of equipment and support materials.
  • Manages production schedule of required student material.
  • Coordinates with courseware developers on delivery of current student study materials to ensure the timely delivery of required materials to students.
  • Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
