The Wasp Barcode QA Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and stability of our products by combining hands on testing with oversight to our QA and release practices.

We have a small - but Mighty - R&D team so this is a both a hands-on and leadership position.

Job Description:

• Join the QA team and focus on delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Implement QA processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• Collaborate with business teams across multiple functions including Tech Support, R&D and offshore resources.
• Ability to influence on several aspects of what is valuable to test, how to test, when to test and more importantly, what makes sense to automate in the process.
• Coordinate release activities with development and QA to minimize downtime and risks.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the QA practice.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. May consider experience in lieu of degree.
• Proven experience in QA leadership roles and managing software release projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership skills and leadership experience
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to address complex environment issues.
• Working knowledge of tools such as Jira, BitBucket and Deskpro, and VM products
• Proficient in Agile methodologies
• Able to leverage automation tools
• Out-of-the-box thinking and problem-solving skills are a must for this role

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
