Edward M Zimm PC is Hiring an Ophthalmic Technician Near Erie, PA

Description

Zimm Cataract & Laser Center has an opening for an energetic Ophthalmic Technician to join our team. Located in downtown Erie, PA, Zimm Cataract & Laser Center is a fast-paced ophthalmology practice.

Position requires excellent attendance, attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly. Responsibilities include reviewing/documenting patient history, performing diagnostic tests such as visual fields/OCT, IOL Master, measuring intraocular pressures, and triaging/responding to patient phone calls.

Must be available to work Monday - Friday, from 7:30am - 4:30pm. No evening or weekend hours. This is a full time position with full benefit offerings including a 401k with company match.

Requirements

Must have a valid PA driver's license. 

High school diploma or equivalent is required with additional education or certification/licensure preferred. 

Optometric/ophthalmology experience preferred. 

Willing to train the right individual.

Salary is based upon relevant experience.
