Job Title: Licensed Clinical Psychologist

Job Type: Part-Time

Job Summary: The Licensed Clinical Psychologist at Cognitive Diagnostic Associates is responsible for conducting comprehensive clinical psychological assessments for children and adults, analyzing assessment results, and preparing detailed psychological reports. This position plays a critical role in supporting the mental health and well-being of individuals and collaborating with staff and management. The Licensed Clinical Psychologist ensures the delivery of high-quality assessment services and contributes to the development of effective interventions and treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

Psychological Assessments: • Administer a variety of standardized clinical assessments and assessment tools to evaluate cognitive functioning, emotional well-being, and behavioral concerns in children and adults. • Collect and analyze assessment data, including test scores, clinical observations, and background information, to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas of concern. • Ensure assessments are conducted in a professional and ethical manner, following established protocols and guidelines.

Report Writing and Documentation: • Prepare comprehensive and well-structured psychological reports based on assessment results. • Ensure reports provide accurate interpretations, treatment recommendations, and strategies for clients, their families, and relevant stakeholders. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, including clinical notes, scoring sheets, and consent forms.

Collaboration and Consultation: • Collaborate with internal staff, including other mental health professionals and support staff, to provide guidance and support in implementing interventions and treatment plans. • Work with management to develop appropriate strategies to support the mental health and well-being of individuals. • Consult and communicate assessment findings, treatment recommendations, and intervention plans with clients, their families, and other professionals.

Treatment Planning: • Contribute to the development of individualized treatment plans by providing insights and recommendations based on assessment results. • Collaborate with therapists, psychiatrists, and other professionals to create effective therapeutic strategies tailored to the specific needs of clients. • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make appropriate adjustments as needed.

Professional Development: • Stay updated with current research, theories, and best practices in the field of clinical psychology and psychological assessments. • Attend relevant professional development workshops, conferences, and seminars to enhance knowledge and skills. • Engage in ongoing self-reflection and pursue opportunities for professional growth and improvement.

Additional Job Functions as Related: • Undertake additional job functions related to clinical psychology, as required by the position.

Qualifications: • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution. • State licensure or certification as a Clinical Psychologist is required. • Demonstrated experience in conducting clinical psychological assessments and interpreting test results for children and adults. • Strong knowledge of various assessment tools and techniques commonly used in clinical evaluations. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex clinical information in a clear and accessible manner. • Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and management, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills. • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. • Empathy, sensitivity, and the ability to work with diverse populations, demonstrating cultural competence in assessment and intervention practices.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $94,793.38 - $134,159.77 per year
