Job Overview:

We are seeking a Lead Cashier to join our team at a retail store. The ideal candidate will have experience in cashiering, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Responsibilities:

- Manage cash transactions with customers using cash registers
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
- Collect payments whether in cash or credit
- Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets
- Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
- Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
- Keep reports of transactions

Experience:

- Prior experience in cashiering, preferably in a grocery store or retail environment
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus
- Ability to sell products and services effectively
- Familiarity with technology sales and wireless products
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Bilingual skills are advantageous for customer interactions
