Desert Ridge Endodontics is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Las Vegas, NV

Our busy endodontic practice in northwest Las Vegas is seeking an exceptional dental (endodontic) assistant for an opportunity to join our dedicated team.

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a self-motivated dental assistant who is dedicated to helping our busy practice succeed. You will be working with the doctor and other assistants for endodontic exams and treatment. We need someone who works at a fast-pace, has a positive attitude, willing to learn new software, and willing to adapt to changes in our evolving practice. Must have ability to listen, understand, and follow directions with detail. Must pay close attention to detail. In an office where patients are having pain you must have empathy and compassion for them. Dental assisting experience required. Endodontic experience would be beneficial but is not required. Occasionally, assistants may need to assist with front desk responsibilities such as answering phones, scheduling patients, collecting payment, and checking patients in and out. Because we see patients on emergency basis you may occasionally be asked to work later than normal or come in early on some days.

Responsibilities

  • Taking periapical, bitewing, and CBCT radiographs
  • Using software for charting and taking notes
  • Instrument sterilization
  • Cleaning and turning rooms over
  • Seating patients, educating them on specific procedures, prepping them for exams, treatment, or surgeries.
  • Rubber dam placement
  • Remove, clean, and replace temporary crowns

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 42 per week
