Description :

Prior experience in the metal service center industry or with metal products required

Family owned and operated since 1996, Direct Metals is a leader in the industrial metal and fiberglass products industry.

With one of the largest metal and fiberglass inventories in the nation, we can quickly and reliably service customers throughout the United States.

Now, we need a goal-oriented, motivated self-starter with 3 years of inside sales experience to achieve growth objectives and take revenues to greater heights.

You will manage new sales opportunities through telephone and email requests; obtain a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements;

provide product recommendations, pricing and availability; acquire in-depth product knowledge; work with outside vendors and follow-up on customer inquiries in a timely, professional manner.

Requirements :

  • Prior experience in the metal service center industry or with metal products required
  • 3 years of inside sales experience
  • Strong communication, organizational, customer service, mathematical and computer skills including MS Excel proficiency
  • Ability to effectively juggle tasks in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Assertive & positive team player with a high level of integrity
  • College degree preferred
