Job Title: Insurance Customer Service Representative -- State Farm Team Member

Duties: Agency Team Member position. Part-time. 3-Days a Week. No telemarketing. No cold-calling, nights or weekends. Assist with all aspects of small-town Insurance Agency in our relaxed, friendly environment. Agent and Staff to provide training.

General Duties Include:
- Help walk-in customers and answer incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Provide information about products and services, resolve customer concerns, and process sales, service, and claims requests.
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively address customer questions and concerns.
- Keep records of customer interactions and transactions for reference purposes.
- Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to customers and offering appropriate solutions.

Skills:
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a clear and friendly speaking voice.
- Strong problem-solving skills to effectively address customer concerns and find appropriate solutions.
- Ability to multitask and navigate through multiple computer systems while engaging with customers in person or on the phone.
- Attention to detail to accurately record customer information and update records as necessary. Basic math skills required--ability to make change, add and subtract quickly, use calculator for percentage discounts, etc.
- Ability to engage customers with confidence and enjoy one-on-one interaction. Ability to work alone on occasion.

Applicant must have or be willing to obtain Minnesota Multi-line Insurance Licenses. (Agent and Staff to assist training process.)
